Photo galleries Gorillas
Mountain gorillas are magnificent creatures. It is almost impossible to describe the feelings inspired by a close encounter with these animals and, for most people, just as difficult to encapsulate the experience on film. IGCP has worked with some of the world's foremost photographers, whose artistic talent has been instrumental in focusing attention not only on mountain gorillas and their habitat, but also on the human issues in the region, including the suffering and deprivation resulting from the conflict. Many of the evocative images contained in these galleries have featured in exhibitions and displays promoting the work of IGCP, helping to generate essential funds for the programme.
